A native of the Bronx, Sam Zherka is a dedicated father, philanthropist, and real estate professional. Sam’s parents were Albanian refugees who survived and thrived through tyranny, oppression, and discriminations. His parents taught him the value of freedom and equality. Coming from such humble beginnings, Sam Zherka knew that hard work was something that could set you apart from others around you. He joined his father in work force at a young age where he watched him work on various construction and building projects. This is when Sam knew that real estate was his passion. Getting his first paying job, washing dishes at a pizzeria, at age 11, Sam was determined to work hard from the start.

 

Having closed his first deal at the age of 17, Sam Zherka has always had a remarkable professional portfolio. In his role as developer, investor, and consultant, Sam has financed hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate transactions. In addition, he has also developed great professional relationships with the country’s top-rated banks including Capital One and Manhattan Savings Bank. Sam has always prided himself on his passion for working hard. Those who have worked closely with Sam, highly rate his trustworthiness and ethical work standards. Philanthropy has always been a major part of Sam Zherka’s life. Having grown up with parents who suffered greatly, Sam and his family take any opportunity to give back that they can find. Sam has helped to raise money for soup kitchens and the homelessness. One of his favorite organizations is Toys for Tots. Sam had an extremely memorable experience with Toys for Tots when he got to dress up as Santa Claus and hand out gifts to the children whom the charity supports. In addition to his work with nonprofits, Sam has also utilized the resources his professional career provides. In the past, Sam has offered free housing in one of his affiliated apartment building for those in need.

 

As his children grow older, Sam Zherka is looking forward to mentoring them into strong business leaders. He hopes that they also see the value in giving back and that generosity can often be one of the greatest gifts to someone.
